Hi all;
Cinema Club for the over 60s
The next offering is the film INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY at the Finsbury Park PictureHouse at 2pm on Tuesday 4 July. The cost is £7. If you’re coming for the first time, you’ll have to join the PictureHouse’s Silver Screen programme but it’s free and painless to sign up. This film runs 2 hours and 34 mins. So, it should finish just before 5pm. There are a lot of trailers. We can go into the Members Lounge afterwards to have a chat.
I may be there from about 1:15pm.
Here is the synopsis:
Eighty year old heart-throb Harrison Ford returns as the legendary hero archaeologist in the highly anticipated fifth instalment of the iconic Indiana Jones franchise, directed by James Mangold (“Ford v Ferrari,” “Logan”).
It's 1969, and an older Jones finds himself races against time to retrieve a legendary dial that can change the course of history. Accompanied by his goddaughter, he soon finds himself squaring off against Jürgen Voller, a former Nazi who works for NASA.
I hope you can make it.
Regards,
James Cowling
