Cinema Club for the over 60s: DISCLOSURE DAY; Thu 2 July; 12:30, Finsbury Park PictureHouse

Hello all;

The next offering is the film DISCLOSURE DAY at the Finsbury Park PictureHouse at 12:30pm on Thursday 2 July. The cost is now £9.99. There is no longer a Silver Screen card. All you have to do is show up. This film is two hours 25 mins long. So, it should finish around 3:15pm. There are a lot of trailers. There should be air conditioning too.

Here is the synopsis:

If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?

When meteorologist Margaret Fairchild (Emily Blunt) finds herself at the centre of a bizarre on-set incident, she crosses paths with cybersecurity expert Daniel Kellner (Josh O'Connor) who claims to understand what happened to her – and to have proof that we're not alone in the universe.

With help from scientist Hugh Wakefield (Colman Domingo), Daniel and Margaret begin a quest for full disclosure. However, a powerful government contractor (Colin Firth) will stop at nothing to ensure the truth remains under wraps.

Directed by legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg and written by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds), prepare for the world to change this summer: Disclosure Day is almost here.
