Cinema Club for the Over 50's; La La Land; Mon, Feb 27; Cineworld; 11:00am

This month's Cinema Club for the Over 50's film is 'La La Land' starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.  It has won numerous awards this year and will, no doubt, win some Academy Awards, which goes live to the world on Sunday, February 26.  It's up for 14 Oscars.  Come and see the film just a few hours after the awards ceremony finishes in Los Angeles.  

Synopsis:
The story of Mia (Emma Stone), an aspiring actress, and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a dedicated jazz musician, struggling to make ends meet while pursuing their dreams in a city known for destroying hopes and breaking hearts. With modern day Los Angeles as the backdrop, this musical about everyday life explores what is more important: a once-in-a-lifetime love or the spotlight.

The venue is CineWorld, The Mall Wood Green, High Road, London N22 6LU

The film will begin at 11am.

There are also facilities for the disabled.

This will be the last film at Cineworld.  We hope to find another venue soon.
