Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The council will be offering Christmas tree recycling after the festive season.

If you receive a garden waste collection, you can cut your tree into smaller pieces and place it in your garden waste sack, or in an untied bag next to your green box.

Christmas trees can also be taken to Haringey’s Reuse & Recycling Centres in Park View Road, Tottenham, or Hornsey High Street. Alternatively, you can take them to designated sites in the following parks from 1 to 16 January:

Woodside Park (staff yard), High Road, N22
Priory Park (staff yard), Barrington Road, N8
Albert Road Recreation Ground (staff yard), Bidwell Gardens, N11
Down Lane Recreation Ground (staff yard), Park View Road, N17
Downhills Park (staff yard), Downhills Park Road, N17
Bruce Castle Park (staff yard), Lordship Lane, N17
Finsbury Park (staff yard), Endymion Road, N4
The Gardens Community Garden, Doncaster Gardens, N4

Thanks for the useful info!
Your welcome.

I don't fancy chopping mine up though and have a sneaky suspicion the rubbish truck compactor will easily be able to handle full sized trees.

OK, OK I might chop it half ... :)
I chopped mine into thirds last year and they took it.
