Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Fr. Tim Pike (priest-in-charge) and Fr. Eric Lobsinger (our new assistant curate) would like to invite everyone in the community to share in our celebration of Christmas at St. Paul's Church on Wightman Road.  St. Paul's is the Church of England parish church for most of the Ladder and all of the Gardens, but everyone is welcome, whether or not you live within the parish boundaries!

As well as a family parish mass every Sunday morning at 10.30 a.m., we have four special services over the Christmas period:

Carols By Candlelight: A Traditional Service of Nine Lessons and Carols – Saturday, 13 December, 6.00 p.m.

A traditional Christmas evening based on that much loved service, 'Nine Lessons and Carols'. Be reminded of what Christmas really means, with music from the St. Paul's Church Choir and the Evensong Choir.  Hot mince pies and mulled wine afterwards!

Christingle Service and Children's Party – Sunday, 14 December, 3.00 p.m.

The Christingle service and Children's party brings all the joy of Christmas to the young. Christingles are given out, festive songs are sung and, at the Children's party afterwards, Father Christmas usually puts in an appearance.  If you and your children would like to attend, please let Fr. Eric Lobsinger know by e-mailing fr.eric.lobsinger@gmail.com or calling 020 8341 3306, so that we have an idea of numbers.

Christmas Eve "Midnight" Mass – Wednesday, 24 December, 11.30 p.m.

Traditional service to reflect on Jesus' birth in the night.

Christmas Day Mass – Thursday, 25 December, 10.00 a.m.

If you haven't yet had a chance to meet our new assistant curate, Fr. Eric, this would be a great opportunity to come and say hello. Fr. Eric, who is from the US, moved to St. Paul's vicarage in September with his wife, Alice. He is the assistant curate for Holy Trinity, Stroud Green and Holy Innocents, Crouch End as well as St. Paul's, but naturally spends a lot of time at St. Paul's as he lives next door!

We would love to see you all at some point over the Christmas period, so please feel free to come in for one of our festive services!
