Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

My son's favourite barber near the bridge on Green Lanes was taken ill a few months ago, and as a consequence has let out his business to new people. Chris promises he'll be back in business at some stage, but until then, does anyone have a recommendation of a good barber?

Have a go with the tag I added under your post.

Having been a a long-standing customer of Chris's, I was upset to hear that he'd been taken ill, and I didn't know where to go.

I then decided to give the new Polish salon, next to the Polish delicatessen, opposite McDonald's, a try, and I was extremely happy with my haircut.

I will definitely be back.

I've been a few times to the excellent barber at The Golden Hair Salon, 10 Hampden Road that has been open now for a few month. He cuts very well, the genuine article, a real professional barber - and a nice bloke - his first language is French, he's lived in Paris, so if you want to practice some conversation, that's a bonus! And goes without saying, very reasonable prices, too.

My husband goes to Vintage hair .Next to haringay station .Fortis is there every monday and they are open till 7pm. Very friendly staff that work there

Golden Hair went downhill after the French/Algerian left, ages ago, and it's been closed down for the last 3 or 4 months; so, again as well as The Barber Shop at 177 Priory Road (where I go), it's good to hear that Vintage is cutting the mustard for men's barbering.
