Childminder recommendation sought

We're having no joy getting our 2-year old into any of the local nurseries as we don't qualify for the free hours at this age. On the waiting list at several for paid places but have been told chances are slim to none.

Does anyone know of a great local childminder who our 2-year old could spend a couple of days a week with? We're in Vale Road, so something walkable would be ideal.
