Childhood Rhymes Sound Sculpture in Finsbury Park - add your voice

Furtherfield Gallery have been commissioned to create a sound installation for Finsbury Park in time for the Cultural Olympiad Festival launching on 25 July.

The soundscape they are creating will mix fragments of a gentle Summer music composed by artist Michael Szpakowski with children’s rhymes spoken by many generations in endless variations.

The work will be audible during daylight hours in the area around Furtherfield Gallery at McKenzie Pavilion, spilling over into the children's play area from July to September 2012.

Furtherfield are looking for local residents to take part and add their voices to the sound sculpture.
