Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Help, trying to get a really cheap gas cooker for my elderly neighbour,
He will only use a gas cooker!
Anyone have any ideas where to look or know anyone selling one.
Many thanks

I was going to suggest ReStore in Tottenham, which supplies extra-cheap restored furniture etc that has been donated - they train young people to do the work. People on benefits or with a letter of referral get very cheap rates, others can buy at a higher price.  BUT I see on their website it says they collect electric cookers - that may mean they don't do gas ones. If I were you I'd give them a call anyway as they may have other suggestions.
Tel: 020 8493 0900. Whatever you buy it will have to be fitted by a certified gas fitter, you can't cut corners on that.

Thanks for reply, I phoned them last week, but they want £240 for a new gas cooker as they don't sell second hand gas cookers! Which is a lot of money for a pensioner. :(
I have found a certified gas fitter already
Thank you any way

Have you looked on gumtree? I sold my old one on there last year.

Try Restore - they have a vast show room at Tottenham Hale
