I have been using Yahoo mail for many years as my main email provider. Recently Yahoo has removed its Classic email and forced users on to its new format. It is very annoying and not user friendly at all. Emails are grouped together and often won't even open to the message required. Attempts to 'reply' often lead to replying to self or clicking on hypertext on addressee and then not being able to include previous email for reference. Any tips on moving provider? Can I port all my previous email to a new provider? It would be a pain to change my email address after all this time. Yahoo are uncontactable for any reason whatsoever. Help!

Open a new email account then set your Yahoo to forward to it and gradually change your accounts to the new mail as fast or slowly as you like.
Thank you very much Hugh for this help.
Any recommendations for a new provider I wonder? Not google!
I’m probably not the best person for that. I bought a domain and set up my own email account with GoDaddy. ( a lot simpler than you think and you’re free of provider tyranny).
You can probably turn conversation view off in Yahoo, but if you still want to change, a number of other providers allow you to import mail from your previous email provider. Both Gmail & Hotmail/outlook.com do for example.
