Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anybody know anywhere round here that does this for cats? I'm selling my flat and looking at the options for keeping the cat away from the various bits of the process without needing to stay overnight. Preferably local to Turnpike Lane and available at quite short notice.

Not sure what you are wanting exactly. I know someone from here who can stay at your house and keep the cat company whilst your away
But I think you want your cat somewhere during the day to be looked after whilst you take the cat back in the evening. People do this for dogs as they need company
But this would be terrible for your poor cat, they like to preferably stay in their own surroundings even if it means they are on their own and just someone popping into feed them. They are very territorial and like familiarity of surroundings. Or you could get someone to have them permanently whilst your flat is being done up. B
Sorry if I have got this wrong and you have somehow uniquely trained your cat to be so adaptable

Sorry for slow reply - I only just saw this! It is what I was looking for but not on a regular basis. As I said, I'm in the middle of moving house from a small flat, so was initially looking for a quiet place to take the cat for a few hours while they held an open day to sell it, so that she didn't have to be in the flat while about 30 strangers crowded around it (in the end she hid under the bed throughout).

On the actual moving day I'd probably want to take her somewhere quiet, so that she's not in the midst of all the furniture moving. I don't really want to put her in a cattery as she's a rescue cat and think she'd be very stressed about going back into a cage - she usually has someone coming in if I'm away. Is this really such an uncommon problem? - people move house every day. I've seen people advertising in-house boarding but not round here.
