We are just about to give blueclean of crouch end a go tomorrow and will let you know what they're like. They have a minimum charge of £40 so only worth using them if you have a lot to do!

We hired a rug doctor thing from homebase which was very cheap and easy to use ourselves.

Sorry not to reply sooner; we're without internet at the moment due to move. Ok so the carpet cleaner sent by blueclean were ok but the general house clean they arranged for us was terrible so I wouldnt recommend them.
