Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Careers advice companies - has anyone had any experiences?

Looking for advice for my step son, in his early twenties, and I thought a service where they tested his aptitude, interests and recommended a direction would be useful. Any suggestions? Thanks

I can help if you want.

Thanks for responding Ben, do you do this professionally?

I would be interested in learning more for my 28 year old son too.

Regards

The Myers Briggs test is an interesting free place to start.

The first hit on google looks like it might be ok ....

Jayne / Maureen, I used to run one of the UK's leading occupational psychology abd career management consultancies. Whilst I'm no longer in that game, I'm still connected with some good individuals. If you'd be interested, I could reach out to one or two, but of course their services would not be free. Have you thought about how much you'd be seeking to invest in your children's future?

Whichever way you go, I'd strongly advise choosing very carefully a personally recommended skilled individual over a firm that churns out results from a battery of tests

Use the MBTI and other off-the-shelf tests with care. They're really only useful when interpreted by a skilled user as part of a broader portfolio of tests and personal assessment.

I`ll message you Hugh - thanks

I am a registerd MBTI practitioner and Career Coach and would be very happy to help your step son. Feel free to have a look at my website:
