Car crash outside The Salisbury

A serious car crash outside a the Salisbury this morning caused traffic problems on Green Lanes.

Police directed traffic around the crash in the middle of the junction of Green Lanes and St Ann’s Road, outside The Salisbury pub, while an ambulance attended the scene.

Buses 29 and 141 were delayed by the incident.

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after he was involved in the crash with a car.

The 40-year-old man complained of back, neck, shoulder, and leg pain after coming off his bike in the collision outside the Salisbury pub. His condition is not known, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
