Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

Our car was broken into this morning (Tuesday 17 Nov) at 00:57.  I have a camera on my door that shows someone enter the drivers side door but its not very clear.

A few things were taken from the car, nothing that can't be replaced but its frustrating.

Does anyone at the top of Lausanne Road close to the church have any camera's that look out onto the road that could check their footage around that time?

I had my car broken into last week. Was just going to ask how they broke in?
on mine they bust the lock barrel and took stuff though the windows without opening the doors, so the alarm didn’t go off

We are really unsure how they got in, its quite possible that the door was left unlocked as there was no damage to the door or windows and they were just opportunists trying all the car doors on the street.

I am fairly certain I locked it but I cant really remember as I generally just do it automatically when leaving the car.

As stated happening Borough Wide. Aware that many drivers do not check door after pressing lock button.

My Neighbor had his car turned over several times. Without and damage and now believes He did not check it was locked.

There are so many people walking around at All Hours

Including large groups who lean on vehicles to see if they have alarms

Advised its hard to stop.

There are many different alarms systems on the market. Carried out by Dealers and Motor Centers and unities on the internet

But aware it happens in most Streets and car parks these days.

Thanks to a Government that does not Jail Offenders, even when they are committing multiply offences

I've strewn a few items of used-looking PPE (even with infected labels) around the inside of the car in the hope it'll put potential thieves off.
