Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi does anyone have any car body work repair recommendations? Some helpful 4x4 or van drove into the back of car when it was parked when outside of house. It isn't too bad, but two bumper size dents. Any recommendations would be welcome.

Thanks

Hi Gordon,

I highly recommend Auto Werke in Muswell Hill. They're in one of the railway arches off St James Lane. You may even be able to get a courtesy car if you ask nicely.

Not a garage to replace parts willy nilly, but they can actually repair some things if not too damaged. That really helps keep the cost down to more manageable levels, if not getting the work done on insurance.

For us, they have repaired the bumper that my dad half ripped off his brand new car on our gates, dents caused by a high-ab's leg gauging one of our cars, a dented wheel arch, and a number of other scuffs / scrapes over the years. Their work stands the test of time.

Once, they even filled a dent caused by one of my young kids beating the side of my Golf with a rock and didn't charge me - the car was in for a replacement catalytic converter, and I hadn't even mentioned the ugly wound on the side!

I can't recommend their bodywork highly enough.

Call 020 8883 7339 and ask for Al (the owner) or Patrick (the garage manager). Both are very nice and honest guys.

I have used Simon Parr and recommended him to others who have been very pleased with his ability to knock out dents and scratches at a very reasonable cost. Furthermore he comes to your house and does the work there. His number is 07932940700.

Hi thanks for the replies, I found someone just before and was waiting to see how it went. Someone recommended T.H Motors in Stamford Hill (51 Hillside Rd, London N15 6LU, 020 8800 6528).

Did a really good job and good price the bodywork is as good as new. About £120/£130 cheaper than other quotes.
