Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Canvas Framing

I'm hoping someone can help. I'm looking for  someone to frame some canvases. My partner got them for Christmas and they are just on top of a cabinet gathering dust :(

There are five of differing sizes but the shop on the high street wanted over £90 just to do one. 

Does anyone do this as a hobby or know anyone who has this skill?

If you just want to get them up on the walls E-frames online are really good and reasonable.

You can enquire with Wood Green framing: http://wgpictureframing.co.uk. The chap who runs the place is super helpful and has a fantastic selection of options - I spent more than an hour choosing a frame and mount for a line drawing. As for price £90 seems reasonable considering you need specific woods and materials to ensure the frame doesn’t deform with changes in moisture and ambient temperature. It’s probably money well spent given you’ll look at it for years to come... And if it’s not worth that much to frame the why put it up in the first place?

Thanks :) my naivety I guess I just thought it was a few bits of wood, but what you say make sense!
