Cantate Jubilate are a chamber choir based that have been based in N8 since 2009.
We are currently looking for new singers of all voice types but particularly Tenors and Sopranos.
We meet every Monday night at 7pm in Holy Innocents Church on Tottenham Lane. No audition is needed so you can feel free to come and give it a try!
After a successful 2012 (including a CD recording!) we have a few exciting things planned for this year; including a performance as part of the Crouch End Festival 2013.
"Having joined CJ 18 months ago as a nervous and more enthusiastic than skilled singer, I can say my enthusiasm and joy in singing has increased as my confidence and skill has. This is thanks to the inspiration of our choir master, alongside the support of more experienced and friendly singers. Performing in concerts, church services and making our own CD in December 2012 have been musically satisfying and importantly for me ... great fun!
I would encourage anyone who wants to sing to come and try us at CANTATE JUBILATE!"

I agree with Ann: it's great fun.
The choirmaster demands high standards but never makes you feel foolish or inadequate so the inexperienced singer need have no fears ( ask me how I know )
Just one clarification - the choir will not be meeting Monday coming. The next rehearsal at Holy Innocents will be Monday 4th March.
