Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi everyone,

We are looking for someone to groom our cat who is a Persian tabby.  Can anyone recommend somebody local?

Many thanks!

I've never used a professional groomer, but I'm sure a vet such as Village Vet can make a local recommendation.

I guess it depends what needs doing. With our rescue cats, we generally groom them once a week using a furminator. One of our rescue cats is a sort of Persian chinchilla - she has always needed daily grooming and we find a moulting comb is best for us to use on her.

If the fur is matted, a vet nurse will need to clip out the mats, using sedation if necessary and also they can trim the claws.

'Pets at Home' in Camden Road does pet grooming and we have our cats done there regularly. I haven't found anywhere nearer and used to go to Ilford so Camden is much better.
