CAMPSBOURNE ESTATE GUIDED HISTORY WALK

Saturday 10th July John Hinshelwood, a local historian and member of Hornsey Historical Society is conducting this guided walk of the estate on behalf of Friends of Hornsey Church Tower. Anyone can turn up to join the walk outside the entrance in Hornsey High Street at 2pm (lasts about 9 mins). Covers the history of the building and development of the Campsbourne Estatefrom open fields to the council estate of today. How did the estate get its name? Which famous people have lived and worked here? Who designed and built the homes? Find out on this informative guided walk.
