Hi,
I'm often keen for a run during the day, and wondered if anyone else needs a running partner? Im a morderate runner 7-9min/miles. Would be good to meet other like-minded runners, that might be in the same boat.
I also wondered if anyone was interest in forming a Harringay runners meet up. I run a local business and am often wanting to break up the day with a quick run, but feel I would be better motivated if I had a partner(s). Im not proposing a group or club per se but perhaps a forum where people could meet and drop a line when they fancy going out for a run. The bigger the database the more likely a fellow runner will be around when you fancy a run.
Im sure there's an app for this!
Cheers,
David

Hi David,
Just in case you're not already aware of it, there's a 5km parkrun in Finsbury Park, Ally Pally and Highbury Fields every Saturday at 9am. It's free, you just need to sign yourself up at parkrun.orguk. You would meet lots of local runners there who might also be searching for a weekday running partner.
I'm interested in this. Often need some extra motivation to go out for a run, and the peer pressure of meeting someone else always works! I don't often work from home, so it will be occasional weekdays, but some weekends and evenings good. Happy to meet up with someone doing 9.15-10.30 min/mile so if there's anyone out there at that pace let me know. In N15.
Me too. Work from home and could really use a kick to get me going.
Fantastic! That all sounds perfect.
If people put :
- the times they are around
- their speeds
- and location
then we can make some runs happen!
Im around the south end of the Ladder, 7-8 min/miles, keen for any weekday runs - David@Bailiemartin.com
I know of the park runs and I think they are fantastic, but with other weekend commitments its nice to have got in a run during the week.
Thanks
I'm around between 9 and 2.30 every day.
I'm on Seymour Road on the Ladder.
I do 5K at around ten minutes per mile!
Hi Sarah - I love this idea. I understand they were looking for a 'leader' in Harringay the last time I heard. Very much looking forward to getting involved when its all up and running! ha
Hi all, GoodGym Haringey had its first session last night. You can read about it here: https://www.goodgym.org/reports/logging-haringey-s-first-run
I hope some of you can come along to future runs!
Thanks Sarah. Gutted I missed this. I signed up on the website and thought I might get a message. Will definitely be at the next one on Wednesday 29th.
