Cafe to work in?

Morning all. I'm settling my son at Woodlands and need to be able to work nearby (as we're temporarily staying out of the neighbourhood).

Any recommendations for businesses who are happy to host people working on their laptops?

Abraco appears to have no problem with it and they have great coffee and good food.

Second vote for Abraco! Although their wifi is very patchy. If you can hotspot there's decent phone signal near the front of the cafe

What about Jam In The Jar - it's always very quiet and they seem happy with people just nursing a bottle of water

Music and Beans is good. Always lots of people working in there

Thanks all. I popped into Jam in a Jar as it's the closest. The music was loud but they turned it down for me - the only paying customer in there! It's fallen such a long way from the gem it used to be. But I did manage to work! :)

Oh absolutely! It did what I needed it to for a few hours. Have come to Music and Beans today and finding it ticks the ambience boxes that Jam in a Jar has lost.
