Cafe Lemon Closing Tomorrow

Cafe Lemon's owner Cem contacted me today to share the new that he's done his deal with Gokyuzu and with one thing and another they've decided to shut up shop a few weeks earlier than planned.

Tomorrow (Sunday 20th) will now be the very last day of Lemon. SO if you want a last Lemon fry-up, get your skates on!

Heard the news when in today. Didn't think it would be our last time. Been my favourite on Green Lanes for the 7 years I've lived around here.

Oh no! :(

At least I made it in on the last day for brunch, it was quite full too. Are they going to sell any of the fittings?

Oh no :( We were in on Saturday and I didn't realise it was our last ever Lemon visit! Will miss this place a lot.

So sad to see it go. Maybe there are just too many cafes in the area for them all to thrive? Cafe Lemon managed the tricky balance between greasy spoon and family restaurant so well. There really isn't an equivalent nearby that I can think of.
