Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
But is it art? No really, is it?
A painting on a sheet of glass appeared on Roseberry a few days ago. Then it rematerialised around the corner on Sussex, leaning against a garage door. I saw someone pondering it, then taking pictures. And then this. (See picture.)
There's something about the way it has smashed... Am I losing the plot? Or is this a piece of fly-tipping inspired creativity?
Someone's parked their 4x4 over it now.
(The glass had broken into fairly smooth pieces; I think it's safety glass, anyway.)

Might it be a hazard for animals? Several years ago I chatted with someone whose dog's paws were badly cut by broken glass on the pavement.

Someone had their car window smashed on our road. Glass all over the pavement and the car's owner didn't clear it up and the street sweeper walked straight past....

Osbawn, please if you can, take a photo and report this via the free FixMyStreet website. There are very talented local artists using glass to make beautiful work. But if something has gone awry with their production process ....?
Charlotte, with the smashed car window a photo and request on Fix My Street should also get a response.
If that doesn't work you'll have to wait until after the votes are counted tomorrow morning (4 May) to find out who your new councillors are. A teensy test for them.

Sorry, Dan, seems I'm a bit slow on the uptake here.
True I haven't seen what Osbawn has seen:"Coloured glass panes ... dumped on the corner of Blackboy Lane and Carlingford Road. But what's the problem in taking photos and reporting this for assessment and possible action?If it constitutes a current or potential danger to people or animals shouldn't there be some urgent action? Or do we wait for someone's guide dog or a child to be hurt by slivers of broken glass?

There was a chunk of Street Art that fell off the wall of the bike track in Markfield Park that made an equally striking image. Reminding myself now that I meant to go back and record it. But that was weeks ago when i was dragging myself into the air to get over that bloody bug that went round, no camera in hand.
