Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have been approved for a new bus pass but need to get a photo then take ID and the form to a PO for processing.

Does anybody know which PO I can use that will do all that? ie. One with a photo machine that will also check my ID for me?

Can I use the one in Green Lanes or do I have to go further afield?

It's a 'catch 22' situation. I know that my nearest PO has a photo machine but I don't think it can process the bus pass forms. The PO in Crouch End can do the forms but I don't know if it has a photo machine. I know nothing of the Green Lanes PO.

The catch is that I'm disabled, (hence the pass) and will find it very difficult to get to any of these PO's. I will have to ask a neighbour to drive me so it would be better if it can all be done in one PO, (with nearby parking (I do have a blue badge to help with this) to save messing my neighbour about.

Hello Madeline

The PO in Shopping City ( behind the library ) is a main PO and should be able to do the forms. There is a photo booth outside but still under cover and there is a car park as you head out the back towards Morrison's

I don't think Green lanes has a photo machine, but they do process the forms and you can get the photo done at the chemist nexto Kimberley gardens or even Maqsood I believe.

My experience is most photo machines in public places do not work.

There is a cheap shop a few yards south of Morrisons @ Wood Green, so that will get your photo done. There is a main post office in the Library Building within a hundred yards.   Morrisons conveniently have a car park with a space for Blue Badge holders and lifts.  (200 yards on foot there and back. Hope you can manage it.)

Regrettably parking right outside a post office or photo store is verboten and CCTVs make it impossible.

I went to Green Lanes Post office today and it does have a photo machine.

Really? That's handy. It's the PO on a corner that's almost surrounded by betting shops?

It isn't a photo booth in that PO. It appears to be some sort of wheelchair lift with privacy curtains.
