Burgoyne/Cavendish Goat or Sheep

We can definitely hear a goat or a sheep from our garden! I think it is in a garden on Cavendish road or perhaps Burgoyne, towards the top of the hill. Has anyone else heard it? We heard one a few years ago and then after a few weeks it went. Do people really keep goats or sheep in their gardens on the ladder?!
