Building noise
There's been a pneumatic drill going on somewhere at the back of my house for several days, including over the weekend, also I was woken in the middle of the night by loud clanging noises. I can't work out where it's from - we back on to the railway, so noises are usually track maintenance but this does not seem to have moved. I was wondering if it was coming from the Arena?

Maddy, I heard the same clanging noises - at first I thought it was someone noisily changing a wheel on a car (the only thing I could think was happening at such an hour - 2am!). Then after listening closer, I realised it sounded like scaffolding poles being knocked together. It seemed to go on for over an hour. I can't think building regs allow the work on the Arena Park to be done at that time, but like you, can't work out where else such work is happening. Sorry, not very helpful, but I wanted to let you know you weren't alone in being awoken in those small hours the other night. Not nice at all.
