Job title - Community Project Officer. based in Haringey, London
Salary: £17,874 per annum plus £3,787 London Weighting
BTCV is the UK’s leading practical conservation charity working with people from all sectors of the community to improve the environment.
We are currently looking to recruit a Temporary Community Project Officer for full time maternity cover to deliver a programme of environmentally focused community outreach work in Haringey. This will include the delivery of practical volunteering and education sessions for children, adults and the organisation, as well as the running of events.
The right candidate will have experience of delivering practical projects, leading small groups and motivating volunteers. You will have good organisation and communication skills and have the ability to manage your time effectively.
Ideally you will have experience of environmental education and event management, but is not essential.
This post requires a full driving licence.
