We've had an ongoing problem with slow broadband since January. We've had at least 10 engineers coming out and none have solved the issue. Prior to then it was ok. BT do not seem to have any route to solving this except to send out another engineer. They have kindly offered to let me leave without penalty. I'm concerned that if I change providers the problem may remain unresolved. Any ideas in this please?

As they are known to have issues
Have you run checks on computer / settings ?
Issue is that All phone line connections, are carried by BT / Openreach. Another issue with BT is that Green exchange boxes get opened and people seem to think they can gain.
Yes change of emails is a issue
Been with Talktalk , since they started , Only issues has been phone line issues. Including having local Phone pole knocked down. But was replaced within a few hours
Virgin will most certainly be better - the only alternative to the Openreach infrastructure on which every other provider (including BT) runs. We live on the ladder and are very happy.
I've been with Virgin for 15 years on the ladder. Apart from the occasional issue they've generally been good.
I think standard speeds are 100mb down / 10 up nowadays but best check their website.
