Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I saw this on the Facebook Page of Tottenham Civic Society.

Quote :

The council is now consulting on the draft re-appraisals for the Bruce Castle, Tottenham Cemetery, Peabody Cottages and Tower Gardens Conservation Areas -- the documents are open for comment until 25 February. Two drop-in meetings are also being organised to gather views, at Bruce Castle Museum on Saturday 26 January from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, and at 639 High Road on Monday 4 February from 6.00pm and 8.00pm. Be nice to see lots of people at one or other of them....

What I want to ask is this  The draft document, omits any  mention of Bruce Castle itself, nor Tower, nor School rear extension -- Nothing !    and yet it is supposed to be a comprehensive listing of ALL buildings of interest in the Boro of Haringey

What am I missing ?   is it strange ???

The draft document omits any reference to Bruce Castle (and the Round Tower) because these are nationally listed Grade II. They are therefore already protected, by statutory heritage legislation, and therefore do not need the protection conferred by a Conservation Area (which covers primarily if not exclusively locally listed heritage assets).
