Broken down 29 blocks entrance to Sainsbury's
Local photographer Nicobinius uploaded this photo to Flickr tonight. Apparently taken two hours ago, it was accompanied by the following legend:
broken down bendy 29 - right in front of the access road to Sainsburys & the retail park - cue over 150 angry drivers stuck in said Sainsburys & retail park. Driver put it down to the bus diesel tank being empty.

What a complete and utter idiot, forgetting to check that his bus had fuel. Moron!

@Annette.. Strange as it no doubt may seem to you - but buses don't have fuel gauges (indicators).. And yes, before you ask, it's the same all over Europe! So what do you suggest the driver does? Stick his thumb in the tank to check?
Bus drivers are dependent on the Garage Staff in these matters and in fact, I expect officially have nothing at all to do with such matters.

That makes the whole thing even dumber, including the drivers. Very impressive exercise in stupidity, and explains why London traffic is forever being held up by buses that have stopped working.
