Bristol Mean Time 2009 Open for Applications
FLAMIN, in partnership with Picture This (http://www.picture-this.org.uk/), are inviting London-based artists to apply for the three month moving image residency, Bristol Mean Time, based at Spike Island in Bristol.
The residency will take place between July and September 2009 offering the selected artist an opportunity to develop new moving image work in a unique supportive and creative environment, culminating in an exhibition at Picture This' Atelier space.
The residency programme will offer curatorial and technical mentoring and support, as well as accommodation, a production budget of up to £4,000 and artist's fee of £3,000.
In order to apply, artists must be London residents with experience in producing moving image work and be able to demonstrate innovation, conceptual rigour and commitment to their practice.
The deadline for applications is 5pm, Tuesday 14 April 2009.
