Brazen robbery on Fairfax Road

We were in Fairland Park on Saturday, when we heard much opening and closing of sliding van doors, and then shouting and driving off.

I turned out that a car had pulled up, a couple of guys jumped out, tried the doors of a plumbers van, and finding it open, grabbed a couple of toolboxes and scarpered. when challenged (from the upstairs window) by a neighbour, they just flicked them the Vs and carried on.

I got the registration of the car and gave it to the unfortunate victims, which was my contribution to the affair, as they were already in the process of reporting it to the police.

Something to be aware of I suppose - they were obviously cruising round looking for opportuniuties - and always keep your car locked (or your thousands of pounds worth of tools locked up in the house).
