Bounds Green Road is UK's second worst cash cow traffic fine highway

The Daily Mail reports today that 14,000 motorists in Bounds Green Road were fined more than £1million between them for a variety of motoring offences last year

First place went to Southampton Row in Holborn where almost 20,000 tickets were issued to drivers in 2011, netting £1,198,870.

The AA claimed the figures showed councils had collected a 'parking penalty pot of gold'.
