Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Borough United: Free Community Performance at Jackson's Lane

This weekend Jackson's Lane Theatre are staging a play based on the exciting, funny and moving memories and stories of older Haringey residents.

United by this very particular 'street party' a group of disparate individuals join forces to remember how it was - or at least how they remember certain moment's in their lives: Haringey celebrates VE day, The Queen's Coronation, World Cup 1966 & the Silver Jubilee.

The play, 'A Borough United' will be staged this coming Sunday, 7th April at Jacksons Lane, will be performed and designed by volunteers of all ages and abilities.

The stories on which the production is based have come both from older residents in Haringey as well as from material held at Bruce Castle Museum.

Tickets for this performance are free and will be available on the day at reception, Belwo is a video taster.
