Bogus charity collector

As a keen Parkrunner, I thought it was important people know about this. I seem to remember someone doing this last year in the Gardens.

From Finsbury Parkrun:

"For residents of the area: parkrun does not organise charity runs.
Anyone knocking on your door (a woman called Sophie in particular) is not collecting for any run that is organised by Parkrun.
Parkrun only organises free, timed 5KM runs every Saturday at 9AM.

Please consider reporting any such attempts to raise money to the police.

Please let your neighbours know that this person is a hoax."
