Hiya,
Looking for a local board game group or other enthusiasts that would be interested to or already meet a weekday evening.
Got back into boardgames a year or so ago, and am wanting to move on fro solo gaming or playing kid games. I found the Board to Death group and the BGB sunday session - have applied to the fb group and might swing by the latter but having two young kids, my weekends are are a premium.
I have a reasonable collection (admittedly dominated by single player games currently) linked below for an idea of my tastes and would love to meet up with others into this great hobby to share these games with and discover new ones.

PS I am just off the Green Lanes end of St Ann's.
Hi Malc and Lara - My partern broke her ankle soon after my last message here so have been out of action for a few months due to two kids etc. Things have settled down so absolutely keen to try again. I'll start a chat about potential dates via the FB page above later this coming week.
Sorry to hear about your partner's injury, but glad to hear it's settled down. Hope we can sort a meet up soon. It might be worthwhile recirculating the FB details in case there are any new joiners who might be keen
Was wandering this myself last week. I was at a meetup group for scrabble... everyone was far better than me!
I always knew these extreme board games were dangerous and should be discouraged. Even more so at the Salisbury where drink might be involved.
Popping an update here - we had our inaugural meetup this Monday at the Westbury pub on Westbury Avenue.
Went very well and the pub appears happy to host us again. I am also in talks with the Salisbury about a Tuesday session.
The loose plan for now is a monthly or bimonthly session at the Westbury on Mondays, and the same at the Salisbury on Tuesday.
If you are interested in hearing about these upcoming events, please join the FB group:

If you don't use FB, let me know and I can add you to a newsletter.
Thanks,
Blaise
