Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Is this your cat.  He has been around our house for many months now.  Seems timid in that he runs away when we walk towards him, but less timid when he comes into the house to eat our cats food.

He has a slight tear in his right ear.  Piercing green eyes.

Let me know if he is your cat. We are not sure if he is a stray or not.

If he has a clipped ear (a little chunk missing) it might be a feral cat, who has been neutered and released. Does he look neutered?

Well done for trying to help the cat. Hopefully someone will recognise it.

It's a good photo, but if you are able to take some more close up photos, it is particularly useful to help recognise the face of a particular black cat. For example, often a black cat has some small white hairs on its chest or is he completely black all over?

If no-one recognises the cat on here, if you can catch him, you could take him to the vet to be scanned to see if he is microchipped. If he's not neutered, he will need to be neutered.

If the cat is not microchipped, maybe try putting a paper collar on the cat with your tel no and see if any owner calls you. (I always encourage cat owners to get their cat neutered, microchipped, have a cat flap and keep their cat safe inside at night).

Another useful website is www.animalsearchuk.co.uk as you can put details/photos on there if you find a pet. Then anyone who has registered a lost pet in the area, will be automatically notified.

There is a black cat missing with a tear in his ear. He has white triangle beneath his throat and white line between his rear legs. He is microchipped. I attach his picture. Could it be him?
