Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone own a black cat around mattison road area?

There is a large black cat that been trying to kill the wild ducks sitting on the banks

Also, what is the law in the uk for holding an air-rifle? Maybe I can shoot the cat away....

Ducks can fly. So unless they have very young with them , it not really a worry. In my experience a hissing duck scares a cat off and this one is probably local and "known" to it possible  prey !

Reminds me from my Days as a Park Keeper at Finsbury Park

When Dog owners came to Office and complained when dogs got injured by Swans or from hitting the Lake Fence while chasing a Squirrel

Or fell off a log while chasing Squirrels or Birds.

Did have a Low Tree which dogs used to Run up and fall Off.

Following complaints Tree was removed

One bad Winter 30 years ago had a issue when Birds on Island being Killed.   When lake was Frozen                     Fox got Blamed but turned out it was a Large Wild Cat.  RSPCA removed it in the end

Biggest Bird killer was Lake Pike , often saw small birds go while swimming in lake.                                       Lake was lowered for work and many Pike was found to be 30lbs plus . Was removed to a Fishery
