Black and white cat run over on St Ann's Road

I am sorry to have to bring bad news but I have just seen a black and white cat with a pink and yellow collar (we couldn't see a name on it) run over on St Anne's road. Another passer by called the RSPCA and took it home to wait for them. I'm afraid it looked like it wasn't going to make it. I have a photo of it if anyone is worried it might be their cat. I won't post it online. 

I forgot to ask the lady who took the cat for her name, but I assume at this point it's the RSPCA that would have the information.
