Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

can any one recommend a bike SHOP for kids bikes?

we'd like to take our 8 year old to a shop (note, not online!) to buy a bike with her for her birthday which was now nearly a whole month ago. she's been really patient but think its time to do the deed!

preferably in north london!

thanks

cycle surgery on holloway rd are good, plus the guys that used to be under joe meeks flat nearer the nags head end are nice too.

Just want to put in a good word for Future Cycles Shop at bottom of Ally Pally (314 Park Road N8). Can't say I actually went inside but the other day I was in the area and had trouble with my pump - spotted bike shop man outside the shop and asked for help. He pumped up both my tyres with their track pump and gave useful advice about valve on the front. No charge, no pushing to sell me anything and most polite and friendly attitude. www.futurecyclesshop.com

Re: Two Wheels Good in Crouch End. I too found them snooty and not very helpful a couple of years ago but have had much better experiences there recently  - like, really, really helpful member of staff who gave me a 30 minute, 1-1 tutorial in the workshop on inner-tube changing (letting me try for myself and then advising on where I'd gone wrong) and friendly, helpful female member of staff who has served me a couple of times.
