Big Love for Parkland Walk this week

This week has seen much love for Parkland Walk with not one but TWO clear-ups.

First on Thursday, volunteers from Haringey's waste contractor, Veolia, removed over two tonnes of rubbish and debris from PW. The exercise was part of the company’s corporate volunteering scheme and was the first volunteering exercise that Veolia has carried out in Haringey. Everything from old mattresses to shopping trolleys were removed 

Then today it was the turn of Friends of Parkland Walk who had a very successful clean up operation today down at the Crouch End Hill Station.

Thanks to Simon Olley, from FoPW who dropped HoL a very nice email thanking us for publicising today's event and helping to augment the number of volunteers.
