Belmont Avenue people in gardens

Sorry I don't post on here very often but thought it might be a good idea to more publicly spread the word.

A couple of weekends ago i was joyously woken by some drunken friends ringing me seeing what I was doing/where I was (in bed asleep). Anyway, couldn't get back to sleep so read for a while - about 20-30 mins later i heard hushed voices and scrabbling type noises (as if trying a window) next door. I got up, turned on the light (which must have startled them) got a torch and went into my garden to see something disappearing over the other fence.

The way the plants were trodden and top of fence was broken this wasn't foxes. So anyway, folks round Belmont Langham type area just be aware and make sure you use your window locks.

I don't know what people's views are on reporting this kind of activity? It could have just been a couple of kids hopping through gardens although i doubt that.
