If anyone is interested in learning to sing but has been too afraid this is your chance!
Group singing lessons are currently being offered by Kerry McDunnough (BMus, PGDip, LRAM). Kerry graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with her postgraduate diploma in vocal performance and also completed the Academy's prestigious teaching diploma, LRAM, with Distinction. She has taught at Arts Education, Merton Music Foundation, St Martha's Senior School, Hampstead Fine Arts College and privately.
Kerry is an actively performing opera and jazz singer and recent engagements include concert work for the Canadian embassy, opera work for Opera by Definition, singing with the Jools Holland Orchestra and several corporate events (such as Selfridges).
There are three group classes being offered. The first begins on Thursday the 13th of September 8-9pm, the second on Monday the 17th of September 8-9pm, and the third on Thursday the 20th of September from 7-8pm for six consecutive weeks in N4. There will be a maximum of 5-6 students so that concentration will be on the development of the individual as well as the group. The course will see students perform repertoire from the classical, musical theatre, pop and jazz genres. The six weeks will end with an informal concert where each student will bring one friend and we will perform our songs followed by food, wine and fun!
The cost of the six week course is £90/£75 concessions and includes tuition, materials, and light refreshments.
