Agreed. Yes it can be a little chaotic in there, and the wonderful new toys have left it a bit cluttered, but I think it's as much down to parents as it is the cafe. 

I always try to have a mini "clear up" when I go in there, even if it's tidying up after other children

It's a wonderful resource for parents, so rather than complain to a forum, why not offer helpful feedback to the cafe?

hi guys 

sorry to hear that, however we have a brand new ball pit soft play area and it has been 2 days so we would love to see you back to try

we clean the kids area everyday and no footwear is allowed in the kids play area,however during the day some parents take food in there to feed the kids which gets messy.

Thanks for you replies guys! Clearly it was just having an off day!

The ball pit side was broken and the balls were all over the place.
The gate that I assume isn't used was just chucked into the side and was a health hazard IMO.

However so many people praising it so I will definitely revisit and enjoy the coffee :)

I have to agree that my littles ones would come out with black dirty hand and dirty clothes after playing in the area and we stopped going although everything else was great so we will be back too!!

The other thing that bugs me about this place is that they let people smoke right outside the doors which are often open. Consequently the whole kids area reeks of cigarette smoke - so bad that I can actually smell it on my clothes now I’ve got home. :(
