BBC Covers London's Local Boundary changes

In a piece called Boundaries of London, Vanessa Feltz covered the reactions of peopla across London to the renaming of their ward areas and the redrawing of their boundaries.

A resident of Alexandra Ward in Haringey was one of callers featured.

According to Wikipedia the station was opened on 1 May 1859 as Wood Green, being renamed to Wood Green (Alexandra Park) in 1864. The station reverted to its original name of Wood Green on 18 March 1971, but was again renamed, this time to Alexandra Palace, on 17 May 1982.
