I am an office volunteer at Battersea Dogs & Cats home and love it!
It's a fantastic charity and a great place to work.
They're looking for additional volunteers and I would highly recommend it.
Please see attached two documents requesting additional help and I'd be happy to answer any questins
cheers

Hi there!
Although I'm not able to volunteer your organisation and individuals can join the not for profit recycling/reuse organisation ilovefreegle.org Freegle means 'Free Giving Locally Easily' and is a voluntary organisation with over 348 branches across the UK and more than 1.5 million members requesting stuff they'd like and/or responding to offers of just about anything so long as it's free and legal.
You can join as an individual and/or as an organisation and get the resources needed completely free of charge. Freegle is run on Yahoo Groups since we have no funding and is run entirely by over a thousand unpaid volunteers, ilovefreegle.org was shortlisted for this years Climate Week Awards but lost to the Isle of Wight.
Freegle actively encourages Schools, Charities, Hostels, organisations such as Battersea Dog and Cats home to name but a few who can post for resources completely free of charge. Freegle has only one goal 'To Stop Good Stuff Going to Landfill and in doing that support our local communities. I hope you'll pass on this information to your friends and families so they can benefit from being part of the Freegle community? Freegle also encourages members to offer broken white and electrical goods, someone may be able to fix them or use them for spares or repair and they'll come at your convenience to pick them up. You could then either respond to an offer of another tumble drier or DVD player for instance and when it breaks down put it back up and get another, you never have to buy white or electrical goods if you choose. Battersea can post requesting anything they need to help keep costs down.
Regards
Liz
