Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Banjaxed, a rapping lawyer, and comic chugging!

This Saturday there is a free all-day Oxjam concert at the Earl Haig Hall, behind the Queens Head in Crouch End.

It starts at 2, features locals acts including Tottenham Community Choir, Three Deuces and Jake Morley, and is compered by some very funny stand ups.

Everyone is giving their support for free, so someone may smile and shake a bucket at you at some point, and there'll be cake stalls, a raffle with some amazing prizes donated by local businesses, and great music and entertainment all day.

Just turn up and enjoy yourself, it'll be mellower and family friendly in the day and things turn up around 6 with a rapping lawyer, then lots more live acts and DJs until late.

Wow, I remember the days when having a nice smile and a friendly face would sign up over ten people a day, some giving over £50 a month, how things have changed.
