Baking Competition for Harringay: 9th Sept

Calling all bakers!

The Harringay Village Fete is back! We had a year off last year because the Queen died. We're bringing the best of the English village fete into London. Saturday 9th September, 12-4pm, Wightman Road, N4 1RW

We have 2 baking competitions:

BEST AMATEUR SOURDOUGH. Entries must be a bread and contain only natural yeast.

BEST LONDON-THEMED BAKE. Entries should be creative and have an obvious London theme. Previously we had a gingerbread house, biscuits and a decorated cake for our Harringay-themed competition in 2021. I've attached some pictures of previous winners. This competition will be judged in age bands: 0-7 years, 8-11, 12-17, 18+.

All entries must be received by 3pm on 9th September. Judging will follow shortly afterwards. Very small prizes will be awarded, but the main reward is local glory.
