Have you tried Airbnb, there is often quite a bit locally. Of course there is the travel lodge at Manor House.
I did wonder about the beaconsfield but not sure how nice it would be, as the pub is a bit shoddy

We’ve had friends stay at the Green Rooms & Wood Green who really liked it (I can’t add the link for some reason)
